About Us
Purple Paw Pet Sitting Service
is a professional companion animal care company that provides personalized attention, expert care and love for your pet in the comfort of your own home while you are away.

About the Owner
Purple Paw was created by Linda Dalziel, and has an extensive background in animal behavior and care.

Growing up, Linda's assorted loved companions included cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, and  constant exposure to cows, ponies and horses on her Grandparents' farm.

Having always nurtured a deep love for horses, Linda was hired on at the prestigious Bennett Farms, located at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, shortly after her arrival in Los Angeles. There, she not only cared for their award winning saddlebreds, but tended to the needs of their celebrity clientele as well.

Being an Equestrian herself with her own collection of ribbons,  Linda  taught beginning riders in hunt seat, stock seat (Western), and saddleseat equitation.

After enjoying a successful career as a touring backing vocalist, and songwriter, Linda decided to pursue her love for animals.

Her company Purple Paw Pet Sitting Service was an instant success! And, her elite clients benefit from a lifetime of Linda's animal care knowledge, as well as her personal experience of knowing what it is like to travel, leaving pets behind. Her service provides superb, individualized care,  and her client's pets benefit directly from her deep love for all animals.

Whether on vacation, working extended hours at your job, out for the evening, or just scheduling a break for your pet in the middle of the day, I provide customized service for all of your loved one's needs, as well as your own much needed peace of mind.

Purple Paw is owner operated, and also has a small, intimate hand picked staff available for back up and busy seasonal bookings.

As a young adult, she rescued unwanted parrots from breeders in Chicago, who approached birds as product, and would discard them when unproductive. At one point, she had acquired 27 breeding pairs, which included parakeets, love birds, cockatiels, cockatoos, African Greys, and Macaws! Through this experience, she became knowledgeable in care, hand feeding, and raising  exotic birds.
